Open the specially designed S-16 packaging and reveal its beautifully machined contents, each component coloured black, brooding, magnificent, a visual delight.
Pick up the main body, CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium, feel the special two stage, fully adjustable trigger.
Take out the uniquely designed black silencer and screw it onto the barrel, the mating parts fitting together perfectly, with a feel you only get with precision equipment
Next take the charged 400cc steel bottle and screw it firmly to the back of the main body.
Now the "Sweet Sixteen" is assembled, you can see why the shooting world is in love with it.
Push pellets into the unique 16 shot, Mil Spec magazine and slide it home into the main body until you hear it lock into place with a reassuring click.
Assembling the S-16s is a tactile pleasure but it pales into insignificance when compared with the unbridled pleasure of actually firing the Sweet Sixteen.
Pull the Supa Speed™ cocking bolt, take aim, squeeze the trigger... 8 shots in 6.4 seconds, each within a half inch group at 50 yards.
But that’s not the end of the story. Push the stainless steel magazine release button and the magazine slides out, invert it and slide it home for another 8 shots - 16 shots in 14.7 seconds.
Other features of the S-16s include a shrouded barrel with integral silencer, an integrated scope rail, built in sling swivel eyes, housing for a laser, stainless steel cross over safety and integral pressure gauge.
